Ocean Divers Ocean Divers began trading in 1972. We cater not only to new divers but also for experienced ones. We cater for all levels and we try to help our members improve their skills. Some involve themselves in technical diving such as Nitrox and Cave Diving. Others just like to cruise, looking at fish, gathering the odd scallop or crayfish. The advantage of a 50m heated pool opposite the club rooms allows members to try the latest equipment or practice their skills when they like.

Meetings

Meetings are held once every month starting at 7.30pm at our East Bentleigh store. Guest lecturers, slide, video, DVD nights , trip reports, and information on new products are regular features of the meetings. On occasions we have theme nights, and trivia competitions as well. The club meetings always provide a comfortable atmosphere and it is a good surrounding for meeting new people and best of all new dive buddies. The club runs dive trips around Port Phillip Heads on our Marine Safety surveyed boat. Trips are also organised to take members diving at interstate sites, such as Merrimbula,Mt.Gambier,Byron Bay,South West Rocks, Portland or Tasmania and these have always proved very popular. We also provide overseas trips with a minimum of two per year (See Travel List)
